Dayton's X-Fest Canceled

DAYTON, OH - X-Fest 2012, an annual rock fest scheduled for Sept. 16 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, has been canceled, according to a news release by Clear Channel Communications.
The event, presented by Live Nation and the Clear Channel Communications-owned radio station WXEG-FM had a lineup that included Alice in Chains, Cage the Elephant, Our Lady Peace and Mudvayne, as well as a slate of local bands.
While Clear Channel did not specify why they pulled the plug on the show, a spokesman for one of the show's sponsors, Buckeye Harley Davidson told local NBC affiliate WDTN that the show was canceled due to poor ticket sales. - CelebrityAccess Staff Writer
